Plenty of racing going on this weekend! Matt Gallo is racing his 4th 70.3 triathlon on Sunday at the super competitive, and super fun, Vineman 70.3, Sonoma's County's gem of a race. Matt will be right at home, especially considering he'll be running in the vineyards. Salut!
The Jungle Run will be no match for Point Positive athlete Tiffney Crumby Beckloff, who is using Jungle Run as a vine on which to swing into some more fitness for her role in the run-leg at this year's Barb's--women's only--half-iron triathlon on August 1st. I'm excited since I'll be out there to see her tackle her first half-marathon.
I'm leaving tomorrow for Truckee where we'll stay for the day's leading up to the Tahoe Rim Trail 100 on Saturday. If things go well, I should be done before Matt and Tiffney start their respective events. I'm hoping to wrap my race up at about 1am or so. That could be wishful thinking. But that's what this stuff is all about!
